Typical writer… also obsessed with pens.

Howdy! I’m KC. Once upon a time, I lived in the American West, but a few years ago I found the shore of Lake Superior and decided to stick around. For my entire life I’ve been fond of stories and writing, never far from a pen/pencil or a notebook. I’ve long ago graduated from a pack of colorful Bic ballpoints (you know, the bright green, pink, purple, and turquoise ones) to fountain pens and all of the fun that comes with them.

Simply, these writing tools and stationery bring me joy. I use them to do work (my day job is at a museum), reflect on my life (an on and off journal keeper), and tell stories (I’m a freelance copywriter and fiction writer). For a long time, I kept my writing just for myself, but starting a few years ago I started to share them here and there. Then I stopped… and then I began again.
