Sometimes you get a pen that just doesn’t click… but that’s one of the great things about this hobby, so many things to try! This week a pen that didn’t work out, a pen that did, and some new inky fun!

I was flying through different inks and papers this week looking for inspiration. I was reminded of an important lesson - sometimes the nib really does matter.

I really love notebook systems. It lets me play with all sorts of inserts while also having a beautiful cover with character. A little retelling of where I started and where I am today.

My very first ink review! I am looking at Ferris Wheel Press Velvet Ballet. It’s a great subtle shimmer ink for when you are looking for a red, but don’t want something too bold.
